"The beauty of the tunic is in the simplicity of its’ geometric shape. It can become a shirt or shift, a dress or smock, even a frock. I think of it as a canvas with vast design possibilities. Even though I’ve been working from the same pattern for over 30 years there are always new discoveries and surprises that bring such delight to  the creative process."

I love creating Tunics! They has been the foundation of my garment making for many years now. Come share THE TUNIC with us, let's explore it together!

"I am so inspired by Carol's process. Spending time with her and sharing our textile experiences always opens new territory in my thinking and love of fabric. Whether your version is a layered studio garment with pockets for everything..or the perfect cocoon for winter dressing, come explore, collage and create a silhouette with your favorite seasonal materials.

One silhouette…maybe unlimited possibilities?!?!?....... I want to explore that!

"I love beginning a new tunic in the fall.... The process starts with an inspiration, a seed, a unique fabric combination. The metaphor of 'meaning' can open aspects of  sewing, textile play and silhouettes. We'll explore construction techniques and  how wearing impacts silhouettes, details  and closure design. Start dreaming of a dress you've always wanted ..and join us to create it. "                    Diane
