There's a new pattern in my collection, THE URBAN JACKET. I wonder what I did without them in my wardrobe. It is the perfect layering piece for any season and very fun to make. I am making day and night, and waking up with combos that just have to be!!!

The 2 shown here feature my Wing ’n A Prayer Bird Panel/linen vest,

and in metallic, seafoam  linen (fabric from MarcyTilton.com). There are stacks of Urban’s on my design table, waiting for the hum of the machine: sheer linens in creme and white with stitched front panels of vintage linens and up-cycled versions in jeans & canvas tarps- You get the idea. See Diane's latest Journal entry with more URBAN design and construction ideas. Check out our new Facebook album for sharing your URBAN JACKETS & VESTS, we can’t wait to see them!
